Membership

Membership of CICCQSU is open to Quantity Surveyors, construction cost consultants, students, graduates, technicians, corporate firms and other eligible persons who subscribe to the institution’s aims, objectives and professional standards. Joining CICCQSU connects members to a professional community committed to excellence, ethics, learning, collaboration and advancement of Quantity Surveying in Uganda.

Description

Fellow Members

For senior professionals who meet the institution’s requirements for fellowship and have made significant contributions to the profession.

Professional Members

For qualified Quantity Surveyors who meet the professional membership requirements and are engaged in Quantity Surveying practice.

Associate Members

For professionals who meet associate-level requirements and are involved in Quantity Surveying or related professional practice.

Graduate Members

For graduates with approved qualifications in Quantity Surveying or related fields who are progressing towards full professional status.

Technician Members

For persons with approved technical qualifications or experience in Quantity Surveying-related practice.

Student Members

For students enrolled in approved educational institutions and pursuing Quantity Surveying or related studies.

Corporate Members

For companies or firms practising Quantity Surveying or construction cost consultancy and meeting the institution’s corporate membership requirements.

Honorary Members

For persons recognised by the institution for distinguished contribution, position or eminence in relation to the profession.

Temporary Members

For persons granted temporary membership under conditions prescribed by the institution.

Visiting Members

For professionals visiting Uganda for a limited period and recognised under the institution’s requirements.

Retired Members

For professionals who have retired from active practice but wish to remain connected to the institution and contribute to its objectives.

How to Apply

  1. Download the relevant membership application form.
  2. Complete the form and attach required supporting documents.
  3. Submit the application to the CICCQSU Secretariat.
  4. The application will be reviewed by the relevant committee.
  5. Successful applicants will be notified and admitted upon payment of the required fees.
  6. Members are entered into the institution’s register according to their approved membership category.

Membership Fees

CICCQSU membership is subject to approved entrance fees, annual subscriptions and any other payments prescribed by the institution.
